I want to share a personal story with you so that you can understand why I started this company and why we are so dedicated to making sure you have someone in your corner when you need to sell your house fast.

In 2008, the Great Recession happened and everything went sideways. The company that I worked hard for decided to fire me, and I was without a job at the worst time. No matter how hard I tried and no matter how many interviews I went through, no one was hiring. During this time, I kept getting more and more frustrated and scared as my finances declined. As a homeowner, it was a scary situation worrying every month if I would be able to pay my mortgage and expenses.

A year later, after a lot of sacrifice and creative financing, I was able to save my house and financial situation. Unfortunately, so many other families are not as fortunate.

During my crisis, I looked at options to relieve the financial burden of homeownership and debt. I found companies that buy homes quickly, but they were all pushy, aggressive, and ended up taking me longer to sell my home than if I listed it on the market.
